About us

Clockfire is an independent Australian theatre company based in the Wollondilly Shire on Gundungurra Land. Since 2012, we’ve created original, devised theatre that is physical, collaborative and bold. Actors, composers, designers, and writers explore form and story together, guided by curiosity and a spirit of discovery. Ensemble is our driving force, where every voice shapes the work.

Grounded in Jacques Lecoq’s teachings, our process celebrates play and invention. Through our education program Clockfire Creative Lab, we share these methods with the next generation of artists, offering a glimpse into how our ideas take shape on stage. Recent productions include Plenty of Fish in the Sea and Ruins / أطلال.
